My love with free world started with Twitter.It was year 2022 when our free speech was put under censorship.We were forced to accept things against our wishes.But awareness makes you bold.Most of the people were trying to make their voices heard .That was the most exciting time for Twitter because it became a household name in my country.
I enjoyed my journey of the free world of Twitter because of its freedom and its power of being heard.Most of the people fought with the government authority on Twitter.Twitter set trends to force government to change its policies.Some of the unusual events changed our minds and twitter had much better rule than News papers.We all know that newspapers are not independent,they all follow certain guidelines.We trusted twitter because everyone believed it is a free speech platform.Then power of this medium threatened authorities around the world.They didn't change their brutality but tried to contain this free beast.India was the first country to use its power of economy to undermine the truth spreading ability of Twitter.They made twitter to change its Policy or lose Indian marketplace.That was the first time we strated doubling twitter independent and free speech policy .Next was all downward travel in my opinion.ElonMusk then made it its property.
A free speech platform in the hands of a rich man ,I could not swallow it.Then our government started hunting people who opposed government on Twitter.ElonMusk changed blue bird logo to make twitter even stranger to us.The new thing actually represent Elon musk not us.X or whatever it is has everything but independent feelings we had for Twitter.
When ever I see the new version my mind only tells me one thing.The blue bird was weak and fragile.But a medium made it powerful .ButX is powerful yet it cannot stand for the weak.It might be only my resistance to change or may be I am right .Any way now I am not using X to speak up my mind .I am afraid that someone is trying to look into my actual bent of mind . This is what X is for me intrusive... Remember the movie X-Files now twitter has that ora of out of this world intervention..
